A lot of ppl email me and ask if i try the aspirin facemask idea which i posted up few days ago.
Well, i haven't. I didn't dare too..Too pussy to try out..cause just because one person thinks it works doesn't mean others will have the same effect..plus..why would i wanna smudge acid all over my face? DOn't think is safe anyway...it prob works if u know the exact amouth of water,honey and aspirin to mix with!
I am gonna recommend 2 products which i think will have the same effect that makes your skin extremely smooth after using it.

The origins Modern Friction

I been using this 2 products for a year now....and it works for me. If u think The modern friction is too expensive, try the one from lush. I don't usually use it as a mask. I use this after the cleanser and rub it all over my face and massage gently for a few minutes. U can deff feel the results after!

I haven't shop in Benetton for ages and to the one in putney few days ago while i am on my way home from uni. I am luving the Bright Colours and summer style which they had now. I reckon this summer year's summer sale should be good. There are so many things which i wanted to get!hehe

I was reading Michelle phan's blog and apparently using aspirin for facemask makes your skin soft and clean. Can you believe that?
Well, this are some comments about using aspirin as a facemask

"Aspirin has acidic properties. The crumbs melt a little in the honey. Leaving it on for 10 minutes peels a whole thin layer off your face leaving a glow, much less harsh than alpha-hydroxy or refined chemicals. Plus the lil exfoliating grits, but those are very secondary. Leave it on overnight if you want to see just how acidic aspririn really is. You will get hell of a peel. I do NOT suggest it.."

"Most skincare companies are already using methylsalicylate as a much better option. Unbuffered aspirin (salicylic acid) has side effects. While constantly exfoliating leaves the younger skin to be much smoother and softer, the problem is that this does little to maintain the outer layer of the epidermis (this protects the skin). With the increase in various germs ... it is quite dangerous to be do"

In addition, the concentration build up effects are scary. Look you are asking people to apply the aspirin (salicylic acid) as a solid form directly to their skin. Concentration= amount /aqueous solvent. Since there is very little aqueous, your concentration is quite high and this will cause damage to the skin over time."

Aspirin = Beautiful Skin

This is my formula for healthy beautiful skin. This cleanser that you
will be making starts out as a mask, and ends up becoming an
exfoliating cleanser. This can clear up acne and other skin problems. This works on me, with a 100% successful rating on the people I showed this to. Hopefully, you can be one of them. If you are allergic to aspirin do not use this. If you are allergic to honey, you can still use this method ( just subtract the honey).


Note
If you all are worried that aspirin may be bad for your skin. Let me inform you, that I would never suggest my readers to put toxic substances on their faces. I have done my research and have asked many dermatologists about aspirin. They recommend it, saying that it can heal scars, and here is an interesting article that states that it can prevent skin cancer.  If you all are still skeptical, do not do it until you have done your own research and feel comfortable about it.



List of Materials


Non coated aspirin. I prefer the Target or Walgreens brand because it is inexpensive and dissolves faster.

Honey- You know, that ones you put on your pancakes and waffles hehe..mmm


Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner. You can purchase this on their online site . This is alcohol free so it will not dry your skin. You can use any other alcohol free toner, but I prefer this one.

Neutrogena Healthy Skin Anti-Wrinkle cream. This is also inexpensive,
but works better than department store brands like Lancome, Clinique
and etc!

 

Step 1-4 starting from left to right.



1) Take around 2-3 tablets of aspirin. (I used four for better photo details)

2) Sprinkle and I mean SPRINKLE drops of water on the aspirin, if you
use too much water, it will become too mushy and pretty much useless.

3) If you added the right amount of water, it should start to
disenegrate on it's own (Remember, get non coated and go for the
Walgreen's or Target brand because they will dissolve at a faster rate
than other brands). If it does not dissolve, use your fingers to break
it apart and mix it with the water.



Note, the texture of this should be VERY grainy.



4) Add a 2 squirts of Honey onto the aspirin.After wards, mix the mixture until the aspirin is coated with the honey.

  
Now,
start applying the mixture on your face. Make sure you avoid the eye
area like I did. Also, try and avoid getting the aspirin in your
nostrils, you do not want to breath this in. This may sound
complicated, but honestly, it is common sense not to put anything up
your nose right?

Apply and spread the entire mixture on your face. Leave it on like a mask for 10 MINUTES.
After
the 10 minutes are up, wash this cleanser off your face. As you are
washing it off, take advantage of the grainy texture of the aspirin and
exfoliate your skin. This will get the dead skin cells off your face,
and polish your skin to leave it glowing. I promise you, RIGHT WHEN YOU
WASH THIS OFF, YOU WILL FEEL A MAJOR DIFFERENCE ON YOUR SKIN! It will
feel soft to the touch.
Now after the wash, take the toner and dab some on a cotton ball like so.
Wipe your entire face with the cotton ball in a circular motion. This
toner will not only take off the gunk that the cleanser left behind
(like makeup and dirt) but it will also constrict the pores, making
them appear smaller and less visible.

Circular motion!


 Now take the moisturizer, and apply it on your face. I love this
moisturizer because it feels so lightweight. It also has retinol, which
will reduce the appearance off fine lines and wrinkles ( we are never
too young for this gals, I started using wrinkle free cream when I was
8 years old). It also has spf 15, which will protect your skin from the
 (DUH) sun!


I do this every morning and night 24/7. If you want to see results, look
at this photo below I took yesterday. This is a NON AIRBRUSHED, UN
DOCTORED PHOTO (except for the cropping).

Sorry for the lack of updating for this week. I been really exhausted cos my easter weekend is kind of crazy. I was tipsy the whole weekend and woke up really early on monday and tuesday cause juliana was in London ^^~

So what should i share with you girls today?
I wanna recommend this loreal eyehshadow which i bought last week. I totally luv the sparkles and amazed @ the staying power. I usually use branded eyeshadow and hardly use high street brands coz i find them not as pigmented. But i been using my loreal eyeshadow nearly everyday since i bought it =P
If you're from UK, go to the massive Boots in bond street.they have more yummy colour available !!~ I got the loreal nail vanish and eyeshadow pallete for free cause it's on promotion..

Since London's weather been quite warm, this is what i wore in the weekend~

I didn't took much pics on sunda's bbq cause was tipsy and having girly chats upstairs which was really fun~

Oh...on tuesday me and Juliana went to the primark in Marble Arch. I think it might be the biggest Primark in UK.Umm... we spend like an hour or more in there. (Ps to the Guys who dislike shopping : DON'T EVER ENTER THE SHOP, U WILL END UP CRYING )There's so many people and i warn you not to go until easter holls are over. There are loads of colourful yummy dresses but none size 8-10 left which is really frustrating.
Here's some colourful dresses which i wanted to get and doesn't have my size. A lot of size 16 left which is really annoying.
And yeah, I am not ashamed to say i luv primark cause their clothes are amazingly cheap and have all the latest "in" styles.

Another thing which i wanna blog about is this famous thai make up blogger call Jeban. I luv her make up skills cause they are amazing!!! Here's some examples!!and yes..make up is like Magic..U don't need to go plastic sejury =P

I just started watching this korean drama "witch yoo hee" totally hooked on to it now. Episode 7 just came out this morning and i download it every thursday. I totally recommend it to girls cause you get to see yummy outfits and the story line is pretty good. and not to forget to mention that DENNIS JESSOPH O'NEILS look totally Hot in it! there's one part you get to see him going topless *dribbllesss...droollll**
