My birthday treat to Paris was great.
I enjoy every second of it.I luv the archietecture, the people, the food , the rain and even the smell of it. lol . I got a bit annoyed with the weather on our last day in Paris cause it was too hot.I know this sound weird but hot weather really drain my energy . We are lucky cause most the time it was just cool with a bit of rain.
On the first day we had to get up 4:30 am in order to catch Eurostar London - Paris. Me and James were so tired and we slept all the way there.We were really lucky that the hotel wasn't too far away from Champs Elysees and Gare du Nord station. We stayed at La Defense which is a beautiful business district at the west of Paris.The hotel we stayed is just right next to the Grande Arche . If you think going to paris is all about visiting the Arc De Triomphe, you're wrong. Grande Arche is ten times nicer and La defense is a must visit attraction in Paris ^^There is also a big shopping center next the Grande Arche too.
The hotel we stayed at is called Sofitel Hotel . I seriouesly recommend it to everyone cause the bed is so comfy and we get 6 big soft pillows for a strange reason. The bathroom is quite big cause the bathtub and shower are seperated.The hotels in Paris are usually really expensive but we are really lucky cause we got a good bargain for our package. If not, it would cost 500 euros a NIGHT for the room!!!! >.< There is also a gym , steam and sauna room which me and wendy go in the morning.
As for breakfast / Lunch , we went to Paul's cafe nearly everyday.They do really tasty omelette, sandwiches , pancakes and desserts .I luv creme bulle, i wish my mum can make that too.Oh,We also tried snails and they taste disgusting...everytime i picture myself eating those garden snails, i felt really sick >.<
First, i am gonna show you guys the pictures which i took at La Defense . Basiclly the Grand Arche was build in alignment with L'Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysee and Place de la concorde.You can actually see L'arc de triomphe quite clearly when u're on the grand arche. Shame my camera wasn't good enough >.<

Arc de Triomphe - we didn't went up to the top but we decided to take some pictures in the middle of the road. Seriouesly, it's really not a gd idea to put our life in danger just to take a gd picture! =P
Eiffel Tower - We didn't went up the Eiffel Tower cause the queue for the tickets and going up the lift is CRAZY. It prob will took us a few hours just to get up there. My bf told me he will treat me dinner on top of the eiffel tower when he set up his own business. **I can't wait*.*
